I'm Ellie, a Swedish game designer living in Dallas Fort Worth, Texas. I love storytelling, exploration, and creating experiences using choices and consequences.

While I am particularly fond of relationship dynamics and stories, and how they guide the player through an experience, I also love thinking in systems and game mechanics and feedback. This led me down a path of level design for a time, before honing in on narrative design and writing! In leaning into writing class and story focused games, I have found so much growth and fulfillment in crafting small games that pack a punch with their story! Branching stories are full of opportunities for choices, consequences, exploring questions, designing feedback, and building meaningful relationships. To craft a good interactive, branching story takes an holistic view of the project, and it truly is my "happy place"!

I have had the pleasure of working with both passionate teams and solo over the course of my years at University and post graduation. There is something so special about sharing a goal and a vision, and I truly love the collaboration that team work facilitates! I hope to be a part of many collaborative projects in the future!
